Corytophanes percarinatusCorytophanes is a genus of Neotropical lizards, commonly referred to as helmeted iguanas or helmeted basilisks. They are all arboreal, and reside in tropical forests. There are currently three recognized species.

- Hernandez's helmeted basilisk - Corytophanes hernandezi [or hernandesii[1]] (Wiegmann, 1831)
- Guatemalan helmeted basilisk - Corytophanes percarinatus A. Duméril, 1856[2]
