The Real McCoy's

"The Real McCoy's" are a brand of ruffled crisps (known as potato chips in the US) popular in the United Kingdom, made by United Biscuits. The product comes in a variety of flavours with Flame Grilled Steak and Salt & Vinegar being the most popular. As of 2006, flavours include Salted, Flame Grilled Steak, Salt and Malt Vinegar, Cheddar & Onion, Roast Ham and Mustard, Spicy Buffalo Wings, Spiced Thai Chicken, Roast Minted Lamb, Chicken Curry, Mexican Chilli, Texas BBQ and T-Bone Steak with Onions. The name is based on the English idiom "The Real McCoy", which is played on in the brand's tagline, "Accept no Imitations".

August 2006 saw the introduction of the "Pub Grub" limited edition range:
* Cumberland Sausage & Onion Gravy
* Ploughman's Cheese & Pickle
* Yorkshire Steak & Ale Pie

A straight-cut alternative known as Brannigans were also originally available, in flavours such as Beef, Ham, and Roast Lamb but have become increasingly hard to find in the shops. They are still available in some public houses. For a limited period of time there were also Brannigans peanuts.
