*FIFA Club World Championship 2000 : Corinthians beat Vasco da Gama 4-3 on penalties after 0-0 draw.
*UEFA Cup :Galatasaray S.K. won 4-1 on penalties, in the final against Arsenal, after a 0-0 draw at the end of the match. This was the very first European title won by a Turkish team.
