John Dramani Mahama

John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician, currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi and as a member of the Pan-African Parliament from Ghana. He is the vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress in the 2008 election. He previously served as Minister of Communications. The NDC announced on April 9 2008 that Mahama had been unanimously endorsed by the party's National Executive Committee as the NDC vice-presidential candidate. He is the running mate of NDC presidential candidate John Atta Mills.
