Heavens is an independent rock band featuring Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio and Josiah Steinbrick. The duo signed to Epitaph Records and released their debut album, Patent Pending, on September 12, 2006.

They spent the 2006 fall season playing the UK and select dates across the US with Darker My Love.

According to an interview with Matt Skiba on July 11, 2008, he said there might be a possibility of another Heavens record which could be released for free on the internet [http://www.bombshellzine.com/newspage/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3306]
