Real Bout Fatal Fury

"Real Bout Fatal Fury", released in Japan as nihongo|"Real Bout Garou Densetsu"|リアルバウト餓狼伝説|Riaru Bauto Garō Densetsu|"Real Bout Legend of the Hungry Wolf" is a 1995 fighting game released by SNK for the Neo-Geo arcade and home platforms. It is the fifth installment in the "Fatal Fury" series, following "".

Characters

The game retains the character roster from "Fatal Fury 3", with the boss characters (Ryuji Yamazaki, Jin Chonrei and Jin Chonshu) now playable. Returning characters Duck King, Billy Kane and Kim Kaphwan are added to the cast. Series' antagonist Geese Howard reprises his role from the original ' as the game's final boss. The game was Geese Howard's final appearance in the "Fatal Fury" canonical storyline, as the game's ending with Terry or Andy depicts the character's demise at the hands of either of the Bogard brothers by falling off the roof of his tower. This was reflected by SNK's tag line for the game, nihongo|"So long, Geese!"|さらば、ギース|Saraba, Gīsu. Geese's appearances in "Real Bout Fatal Fury Special" and "Real Bout Fatal Fury 2" are not taken into account due to the "dream match" nature of those games, whereas the "King of Fighters" series follows a different continuity from the "Fatal Fury" games.
