Stephen Mbogo

Steve Mbogo is a Kenyan journalist. Mbogo writes from Nairobi on politics, economy, foreign relations, terrorism and Africa's social challenges like AIDS. He is currently the International Correspondent (Africa) for a Washington-based news service, the Cybercast News Service. He is also a Business Writer for Business Daily, East Africa’s only business newspaper http://www.bdafrica.com.

He was the editor of a national weekly, "The Kenyan Spectator" up to March 2006. Mbogo's articles can also be found on the following websites; http://www.worldpoliticsreview.com and http://allafrica.com. He once covered the brutal civil war in Sierra Leone and has written several articles on the adventures of mercenaries and private military companies in Africa.
