He attended to St Marys Academy in Bathgate, and trained at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, Bucks, UK.
Family life
A lifelong Celtic FC supporter, Caton-Jones is married to film producer Laura Viederman, with whom he has 2 children (Romy b. 2001 and Charlie b. 2003). He also has two daughters from a previous relationship (Daisy b. 1983 and Molly b. 1990).
Awards
His film Basic Instinct 2 won several Razzies at the 2007 ceremony.
