nihongo|Anjō|安城市|Anjō-shi is a city located in Aichi, Japan.

As of 2008, the city has an estimated population of 176,323 and the density of 2,050 persons per km². The total area is 86.01 km².

The city was founded on May 5, 1952.

The city was once known as nihongo|"Japanese Denmark"|日本デンマーク in 1920s to 1930s, when it experimented collective farming. Rural areas in Anjō are known for it's popular production of Figs and the Nashi Pear.

After the post-war economic growth of Japan, however, the city became largely industrial, hosting many Toyota related factories.
