Yuzawa (湯沢市; -shi) is a city located in Akita, Japan. In 2005 the city had an estimated population of 57,460. The total area was 790.72 km².

History

The city was founded on March 311954. On March 222005, the former towns of Minase, Inakawa, and Ogachi (All in Ogachi District) merged into the city.
