Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas's debut album, "…Something to Be ". The song has been certified gold by theRIAA and has been used in commercials for "NBA Cares ".Music video
The music video, directed by Phil Harder, features various shots mixed against a drawn and partially colored city background, interspliced with shots of Thomas singing the song. He's also in the city, mostly looking out a window. The video also features many birds, including a dove that recurs throughout (along with its handler). Towards the end Rob leaves his apartment and is seated with a dog as the dove flies by. The music video features
