Alain Bauer is a Criminologist. He is a
constitutionalist lawyer .He has been the youngest Vice President of the
Sorbonne university, an office he held from 1982 to 1989.Afterwards, he became advisor onnational security to the Prime MinisterMichel Rocard from 1988-1990He has worked as a criminologist at the Sorbonne University, at the National Police Academy, at the National Justice Academy, at the National Gendarmerie Academy and at the
John Jay College of Criminal Justice.He also work at the China National Police Academy.He is a Member of theInternational Association of Chiefs of Police and has been appointed president of theFrench National Crime Commission since 2003.In 2006 and 2007, he has been appointed at the French Commission on police data control and of the French Working Group on Policing.He is also advisor to theNYPD , theLASD and theSurete du Quebec (CANADA).He was appointed in August 2007 by the French President Nicols SARKOZY to reorganize the French system on studies and research on security and strategy, focusing on the creation of a National Security Council.Youngest Grand Master of the
Grand Orient de France 2000-2003.He is Chancellor of theInternational Masonic Institute since 2003.He is the writer of a 20 books on
criminology and a dozen books onMasonry . Some of them in English.
