The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is an American gospel choir based at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in downtown Brooklyn, New York City.

Musical career

The non-denominational, 300-member voice choir [http://www.brooklyntabernacle.org/site/PageServer?pagename=choir_history] was organized in the early 1970s, but did not record its first album until 1981. The current choir director is Carol Cymbala, the daughter of the late Rev. Clair Hutchins.
