Buckingham Blues is an original song by "Weird Al" Yankovic. The lyrics describe the lives of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales in the early 1980s.

Controversy

Buckingham Blues was originally written as a parody of "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp. Apparently Mellencamp was fine with the idea of a parody but upon hearing there was going to be a movie based on the song Yankovic changed the song to be an original to avoid legal trouble. (The movie, however, never got off the ground.)
