Charlie King (sports broadcaster)

Charlie King is an Australian sports commentator.

Media

He is a commentator for ABC Radio Grandstand and is based in Darwin.[1][2]

He hosts Grandstand and Sporttalk, Northern Territory style.

He has commentated on various sports including Australian rules football and cricket.

At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, he was the lawn bowls commentator for ABC radio.[3]

King was a commentator at the 2008 Beijing Olympics for ABC, becoming the first Indigenous Australian to commentate at an Olympic Games.[1][3][4]

Community work

King is active in promoting an anti-domestic violence message in the Northern Territory.[5][6]
