West Virginia ) is an award-winning author and travel writer. Peace Corps Volunteers inNicaragua . After completing their two-year tours of service, the two returned to write "Moon Nicaragua" for Avalon Travel Publishing. Berman and Wood have proceeded to publish two more editions of Moon Nicaragua, as well as co-author a new title, "Living Abroad in Nicaragua." In 2003, Berman took over "Moon Belize" from a retiring author and won a Lowell Thomas Travel Writing Award (Bronze in the Best Guidebook category) for his work.Born in
West Virginia , Joshua moved toEast Meadow, New York at the age of 12. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies fromBrown University . He has one sibling, a brother, Todd Berman. Joshua is married, and currently living inColorado with his wife, Sutay, also a formerPeace Corps Volunteer.
