Sabrina (Greek: Σαμπρίνα) is a Greek pop singer born in
Zimbabwe to Greek immigrant parents. Her grandparents fled during the Greek-Turkish War and settled inAfrica as many Greek refugees did so back then. The family moved back to Greece and Sabrina began her pop career.Career
Sabrina took piano and voice lessons from an early age. She made her debut in
1992 with the album "Stin Agkalia Mou Ela". In her next two albums "Eleftheri" and "Ego Tha Ime Ego", she tried her skills at composing; she follows with three additional releases "Gitonies Tou Feggariou," "Epikindino Paihnidi," and "Ipopsies". In1994 she teamed up withKostas Charitodiplomenos to compose "Ftes". The song is entered in theOGAE Song Contest and won, bringing the trophy for the first time to Greece.In the winter of
1998 , Sabrina debuted in the international scene with the CD-single "Do Ya Do Ya" written byJoe Balyn andPeter Bauwens . In2000 , she released the albums; "Boom Boom" and in 2002 the album "Breakfast Time". In 2003, she participated in the Greek selection forEurovision .Most recently Sabrina has performed at a popular night-club in
Greece calledChiculata with some of Greece's most famous artists such as Yiorgos Xanthiotis, Shaya, and Stathis Xenos. In2006 she did a photo spread for the magazine Maxim.Trivia
