Shoresh ( _he. שורש, lit. "Root") is a moshav shitufi in central Israel. Located in the Judean Mountains around five kilometres from Sha'ar HaGai and covering 7,500 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 577.

On 15 April 1948, members of the Harel Brigade captured the Arab village of Saris which was located on the highway to Jerusalem. The strategic hilltop position had been used to fire on Jewish vehicles traveling on the road below. That year, a group of immigrants from Eastern Europe founded a kibbutz on the site, adapting the name of the abandoned village. Four years later, it became a moshav shitufi. Today it runs a hotel and conference center, and a banquet hall.
