"Amplified Heart" is the eighth studio album by alternative dance group Everything But The Girl.

Primarily an acoustic-driven set [cite web|url=http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/discography/index.jsp?pid=4569&aid=158060|last=Ruhlmann|first=William|accessdate=2008-04-06] , "Amplified Heart" brought EBTG to mainstream audiences via the dance-floor remix of "Missing". Ultimately peaking at #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart in early 1996, "Missing" spent more than a year gaining airplay and exposing EBTG to US and worldwide audiences.
