Queensland er has been national champion in his weight division (75 kilograms) since 1997. Miller won the Oceania Championships in both 1999 and 2000, his victory this year earning him the right to compete in Sydney. In 1999 he was placed sixth at the World Championships, making him Australia’s highest ranked boxer.Through his career, Miller has won a swag of awards. He was the best boxer in the Australia-Canada series in 1997, he won the
Arthur Tunstall Trophy for the best boxer at the Australian Championships in 1998 and was made Queensland Boxer of the Year in 1999. His greatest achievement so far came in 2002, when he won the golden medal in the 75 kg division at the 2002 Commonwealth Games inManchester .Olympic results
