The Reform Party of Michigan is the affiliate to the Reform Party of the United States. It is a member of the Michigan Third Parties Coalition. [ [http://www.mithirdparties.org/pr0001.htm "Michigan Third Parties Coalition Formed"] ]

Ideological Base

The Reform Party of Michigan is a paleoconservative party. In economics, the RPM supports fair trade and protectionism instead of free trade. It calls for a flat tax system and the end of the IRS. It opposes taxation without representation. It supports US manufacturing, but opposes the use of immigrant workers and supports immigration reduction. It supports saving the Great Lakes nations' farms. In its social vision, it opposes abortion and gay rights, and it endorsed the Federal Marriage Amendment.
