Asso is town and commune in the province of Como, in Lombardy (Italy). It has 3,524 citizens and an area of 6.46 km², with a density of 546 people/km².

Main sights

Considerable historic buildings in Asso are:
* the castle, built in 12th century; nowadays only the tower is in good condition;
* the main church of John the Baptist, built between 1641 and 1675;
