Bedd Taliesin

Bedd Taliesin

'Round cairn'. Historic Monument, in north-west Wales; map ref: SN671912. Bronze age round-kerb cairn with cist about 2m long. Capstone has fallen; side stone slabs are more or less in their original positions.

Bedd Taliesin is the legendary grave of the poet Taliesin, located in Ceredigion, Wales. Local folklore has it that if you spend a night there you will awake a poet or a madman (or madwoman of course).

Bedd Taliesin, Beth Taliesin in Welsh, is the Cairn of Taliesin, honoring him. It is, though, not the real grave of the bard Taliesin.
