Pinning ceremony

Pinning ceremony

A pinning ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly-graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The new nurses are presented with nursing pins by the faculty of the nursing school. Often the nurses recite the Nightingale Pledge.
