John Frederick Colquhoun

John Frederick Colquhoun

John Frederick Colquhoun, Commissioner for Relationships at the British Scout headquarters of The Scout Association served on the World Scout Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement from 1959 to 1965.

As Headquarters Commissioner for Wolf Cubs, he had been the organizer of the first International Cub Conference at Gilwell in 1938. He represented the Chief Scout of the British Commonwealth and Empire at the Second Pan-Pacific Jamboree at Greystanes near Sydney, Australia.

In 1963, Mr. Colquhoun was awarded the "Bronze Wolf", the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.
