Decades after the original Blitz lineup split,guitar ist/songwriter Alan "Nidge" Miller recruited new members and performed concerts under the band's name. OnFebruary 10 ,2007 , Miller was struck by a car and died on impact after walking on to a freeway after a show inAustin, Texas .
