Valmont Industries, Inc. (nyse2|VMI) is a large publicly held Nebraska-based manufacturer of Valley center pivot irrigation systems, windmill support structures, lighting and traffic poles, and steel utility poles.

Their main plant is off U.S. Route 275 in Valley, Nebraska, which is west of Omaha. The company name likely comes from a combination of the names of two nearby towns, Fremont and Valley.

Over the years, Valmont has grown immensely. Valmont has many worldwide locations including China and other European countries. With the retirement of Founder Robert Daugherty in 2004, Mogens Bay took over as Head Chairman and C.E.O.

Valmont's corporate office is located in Omaha, NE along with its aviation department. Valmont continues to grow over the years worldwide.
