Ellen Coldfield

Ellen Coldfield

Ellen Coldfield is a fictional character in William Faulkner's "Absalom, Absalom!".

She was born a daughter of Goodhue Coldfield in Tennessee, in 1817. She married Thomas Sutpen, in Jefferson, Mississippi, in 1838. She died in Sutpen's Hundred in 1863.
