Scotland known as the Central Football LeagueThe first was originally formed in 1896 by five clubs - Cowdenbeath F.C., Dunfermline Athletic F.C., Fair City Athletic F.C., Kirkcaldy F.C. and St Johnstone F.C. In 1897 this version was superseded by the
