Radichkov Peak

Radichkov Peak (Radichkov Vrah a-'dich-kov 'vr&h) rises to 500 m in Levski Ridge, Tangra Mountains, eastern Livingston Island, Antarctica. The peak overlooks Srebarna Glacier to the SW and Magura Glacier to the NE and has steep and ice-free eastern slopes. An offshoot extending 900 m in S direction ends up in Kalofer Peak, forming M’Kean Point to the SE.

The peak is named after the prominent Bulgarian writer Yordan Radichkov (1929-2004).

Location

The cliff is located at coord|62|40|48|S|60|01|47|W| which is 2 km SE of Great Needle Peak (Falsa Aguja), 2.8 km S of Helmet Peak, 3.15 km SSW of Plovdiv Peak and 1.5 km NNW of M’Kean Point (Bulgarian mapping in 2005).
