New Zealand rugby league coach, who has formerly coached in Australia and England. He coached in theNSWRL , the premier Australian competition that has since evolved into theNational Rugby League . He is currently coaching theBay of Plenty Stags in the National Provincial Competition. Queensland Cup ) with Brisbane Norths, and in Britain with the Wigan RLFC. He coached theManly-Warringah Sea Eagles between 1990 and 1992, and also theQueensland State of Origin team in 1991 and 1992, becoming the first non-Australian to coach in the rugby league showpiece.Lowe was also coach of the New Zealand and Western Samoan test teams.
In 1996, Lowe coached the
North Queensland Cowboys on a one-year contract before stepping aside forTim Sheens .In the late 1990's he was a part owner of the
