Asen Peak

Asen Peak (Asenov Vrah a-'se-nov 'vr&h) is a peak in eastern Livingston Island, Antarctica. The peak rises to over 800m in the Delchev Ridge of the Tangra Mountains. The peak overlooks Iskar Glacier and Bruix Cove to the northwest, Ropotamo Glacier to the east-southeast and Dobrudzha Glacier to the south. The peak was named after Czar Ivan Asen II of Bulgaria, 1218-1241 AD.

Location

The peak is located at coord|62|38|52|S|59|56|50|W|, which is 900m southwest by south of Delchev Peak, 1.1km south of Peter Peak and 600m east by north of Ruse Peak.
