Steven Bernard Hosey (born April 2 1969 in Oakland, California) is a former right fielder in Major League Baseball. He appeared in only 24 major league games, all with the San Francisco Giants.

Hosey attended Fremont High School in Oakland and stayed in California attending college at Fresno State University. At 6'3" 218 pounds, Hosey was originally drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 19th round of the by|1986 draft. He chose not to sign with the Indians, and was drafted again in the first round of the by|1989 draft by the Giants, with whom he chose to sign.
