Zellerrain Pass nearMariazell . The river is called the "Weiße Ois" in the beginning, from the Lower Austian-Styria n border toLunz am See it is called the "Ois", and from there until it meets the Danube at "Ybbs an der Donau", it is called "the Ybbs".The Ybbs has a strong, meandering course and flows for around 130 km (80 miles) from the South in a northward direction. Along the river there are many metal and lumber industry plants.
