Tony O'Neill is a New York based musician and author. A one time musician with
Kenickie (1997-8),Marc Almond (1997-1998),The Brian Jonestown Massacre (2000) andKelli Ali (2001 - 2004), O'Neill is also the author of an autobiographical novel "Digging The Vein" (ISBN 0-9766579-1-0) released in the US and Canada in2006 . The book was based on his years as aheroin andcrack addict as well as his experiences in the music industry and has earned praise from fellow writers such asJohn Giorno ,Dan Fante ,Noah Levine , andRob Woodard . The sequel,Down and Out on Murder Mile was picked up byHarper Perennial and will be released as a mass market paperback in November of 2008.Jerry Stahl said ofDown and Out on Murder Mile : "I fucking loved it."He also co-wrote the memoirs of NFL player
