Gary has been the voice for TV's Honey Monster (Sugar Puffs) since about 1988. He also currently does regular voice work for TV commercials & film trailers including the Harry Potter films & St Trinian's.
Gary has been a backing singer and understudy for Cliff Richard in the 1980s stage musical TIME. Also appearing in TIME as a Judge.
Gary thought it was time to move on from TIME when Cliff Richard left & David Cassidy took over (with David Ian as understudy), by joining the stage musical Cats playing Munkustrap.
Gary went on to various other stage musicals including Moby, Haunting of the Snark and playing the role of Vince Fontaine (which some believe was made for him) in Grease.
Gary appeared as a male backing vocalist on Queen's
