Kibondo is one of the 4 districts of the
Kigoma Region ofTanzania . It is bordered to the North by theKagera Region , to the East by the Shinyanga and Tabora Regions, to the South by the Kigoma Urban District, to the West by the Kasulu District and to the Northwest byBurundi .According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of Kibondo District was 414,764.
