John Richardson (1924- ) is a British art historian who lives in London, England.
John Richardson is best known for his acclaimed biography of the artist Pablo Picasso, "A Life of Picasso", of which he has so far written three out of four planned volumes. As a historian, writer and broadcaster, much of his work is based on his personal acquaintance with leading 20th century artists, among them Picasso, Georges Braque, and Fernand Leger.
