Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (Australia)

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) is an Australian Government department. Its main office is located in Southern Canberra in the suburb of Greenway. Its role is to develop social policies and support affected Australian society and the living standards of Australian families. The Office of Indigenous Policy Coordination is part of FaCSIA. The Department offers benefits and/or programs for the following:

* families and children
* young people and students
* people with disabilities
* carers
* the aged
* people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
* Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander people
