Jeremy Wright (blogger)

Jeremy Wright (born June 30, 1979) is a , author, consultant, and CEO of b5media, which he founded along with Darren Rowse, Duncan Riley and was later joined by Shai Coggins. He lives in Toronto, Canada.

Biography

Born in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada to Canadian Military parents, Wright spent his first 5 years at Canadian Forces Base Lahr in Western Germany. As a child of military parents, Wright often moved, spending time in Shilo, Manitoba, Brandon, Manitoba, Borden, Ontario and finally settling through his high school years in the Alliston, Ontario area.

Wright spent time as a web and graphic designer, and worked closely with the County of Surrey in the UK as a Y2K Project Manager. Fact|date=February 2007

In recent years Wright has become known for a number of odd blogging activities. He once sold his blog on eBay for almost $15,000 ref|ebay, and then bought it back later. He is also known for getting fired for what he wrote on his blog ref|fired. In January of 2005 he was stopped at the U.S. and Canadian border for saying his profession was "blogging" ref|search. He has written a book ref|book, "Blog Marketing", which is intended to help people use blogs in their businesses.
