May 24 ,1976 ) is a Norwegian singer fromJørpeland outside ofStavanger .Only 16 years old, in 1993, she entered the Norwegian national final for the
Eurovision Song Contest , theMelodi Grand Prix , with an ethno-ballad written by her father. She won the final easily and represented Norway later that spring inMillstreet , (Ireland ) with "Alle mine tankar" ("All my thoughts"). She finished in fifth place among the 25 participants.She later released an album called "Alle Mine Tankar with the following tracks:
