Kilosa is one of the 6 districts of the
Morogoro Region ofTanzania . It is bordered to the North by theTanga Region , to the East by the Mvomero District, to the South by the Kilombero District and to the West and Southwest by theIringa Region .According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Kilosa District was 489,513.
