Waverley is a local government district with
borough status inSurrey ,England . The borough's headquarters are in the town ofGodalming , although the largest town is Farnham. The borough's other town isHaslemere , which has about the same population as the village ofCranleigh .Waverley neighbours the boroughs of Guildford and

Weald en borough, bounded to the north by theHog's Back section of theNorth Downs . It is one of the most heavily wooded boroughs in England.
