Jeremiah McDade (born 1977,
Edmonton ,Alberta ) is a Canadianmusician .McDade is a talented
multi-instrumentalist andcomposer , playingIrish whistle ,saxophone ,fiddle andflute . His career began with The McDade Family Band at the age of five, and he has subsequently performed with a wide variety of groups both live and in therecording studio .He has been featured on numerous soundtracks such as the
2001 World Athletics Championships ,Biography Entertainment Channel , The BanffFilm Festival and TheNational Film Board of Canada .He graduated with High Distinction from the
Jazz Performance Program atMcGill University inMontreal , the Performance Program atGrant MacEwan College inEdmonton and has been an Artist in Residence atThe Banff Centre . He is a co-leader of the group The McDades, along with his siblings Shannon Johnson andSolon McDade elected discography
