Richard Blackwood

Richard Blackwood (born 15 May, 1972, South London Hospital for Women and Children [" ["London Tonight", ITV - 29/08/08] ] Clapham, London, England) is a British stand-up comedian, television personality, sometime actor and MC. He co-presents a show on the London radio station, Choice FM, and guests as a disc jockey at nightclubs in the United Kingdom.

Career

Blackwood appeared on Brass Eye in 2001, during which he was tricked into saying that internet paedophiles can make computer keyboards emit noxious fumes in order to subdue children. In March 2007, he acted in the critically unsuccessful Bollywood film "Don't Stop Dreaming". Personal life

In a 2000 interview Blackwood claimed that if he had not made it in showbusiness he would have been "a graphic designer, designing buildings" (sic). Due to a large tax bill for the previous year he found himself unable to pay, he declared himself bankrupt in 2003 and was evicted from his Isle of Dogs apartment.
