Bill Conselman

William M. Conselman (1896–1940), known as Bill Conselman, was a successful Hollywood writer. He began his career writing for newspaper comic strips. Conselman created the syndicated comic strip "Ella Cinders" with artist Charles Plumb in 1925, and the less successful "Good Time Guy" with Mel Cummin. He moved to Hollywood in 1920 where he worked as a screenwriter until his death at the age of 44.

In Hollywood, he often worked with writer Jack Woodford. He also directed the film "Four A.M." in 1928.
