bonuses = The Prix Morny is a Group 1 flat horse race in France open to two-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run over a distance of 1,200 metres (approximately 6 furlongs) at Deauville Racecourse, and it takes place annually in August.

Originally known as the Prix de Morny, the race was named in memory of Auguste de Morny, Duc de Morny (1811–1865), the founder of Deauville Racecourse. It was first run in 1865, one year after the racecourse staged its first meeting. The distance of the inaugural race was 1,000 metres and the prize money for the winning owner was 9,150 francs.

In its early years the distance of the Prix de Morny was frequently modified. The second and third runnings were contested over 1,200 metres, which was then extended to 1,300 metres for the following two years. In 1870 this was increased to 1,400 metres.

In 1871 the title of the race was changed to the Prix de Deux Ans, a reference to the age of the horses competing. One final distance alteration followed, a cut to 1,200 metres in 1887. The race continued as the Prix de Deux Ans until 1911, at which point the present name was introduced. This once again honoured the Duc de Morny, but now as the Prix Morny, a shortened version of the original title, without the "de".

Due to World War I the Prix Morny was abandoned from 1914 to 1918. The only subsequent cancellation was during World War II in 1940. For the remainder of this war, while its regular venue was closed, the race was switched temporarily between Longchamp (1941–42, 1944) and Maisons-Laffitte (1943, 1945). The first two races at Longchamp were run over 1,000 metres, whereas the 1944 running was contested over 1,300 metres.

The race was opened to foreign horses in 1947. It was immediately won by such a contender, a British colt named Delirium. An earlier spell as an international race (1875 to 1908) had yielded no foreign winners.

Over its usual distance the fastest winning time in the Prix Morny is 1m 09.9s, which has been recorded by both Seven Springs in 1984 and Bushranger in 2008.

Since 2005 the race has been sponsored by Darley Stud, owned by Sheikh Mohammed. This has increased the prize money by €100,000.
