Holbeach ,Lincolnshire ,England who play in theUnited Counties Football League Premier Division .History
The Tigers were founded in 1929 and played in the Kings Lynn and Peterborough Leagues. They joined the
United Counties Football League in 1946. In 1955 they joined the Eastern Counties League, staying for seven seasons. In 1962 the Tigers joined the Midland Counties League, but failed to gain re-election after finishing last but one in the league, and they returned to the UCL. The Tigers won the UCL title for the first time in 1990. At this time, the Tigers gave a managerial debut to controversial former Boston United and current Crawley Town boss Steve Evans. The club took a while to recover from Evans’ managership, but the new century saw them finish as runners-up in the Premier Division in 2002, following it up with the championship the followingseason , adding the Lincolshire Senior Cup ‘A’ by defeating the reigningFA Vase holders Brigg Town 3 – 1 in the final. In the 2008/09 season, Holbeach United are playing in the Eagle Bitter United Counties Football League Premier Division under their player/manger Shaun Keeble.
