Joseph Dobrian

Joseph Dobrian (born October 12, 1956, Madison, Wisconsin) is a man of letters and a political activist. His journalism, which focuses mainly on real estate, finance, travel, retailing, and sports, has appeared in "The Wall Street Journal", The "New York Times", "National Jeweler", "Travel + Leisure", "Elite Traveler", and "American Heritage", among many other publications. He's known for his essays on politics, popular culture, and the English language, and he acts occasionally on stage and TV. He hosts a political talk show, "Hardfire," in his home town of New York City, and is active in the Libertarian Party. He's been mentioned as the likely Libertarian candidate for Mayor of New York City in 2009. He also claims the titles of Holy Roman Emperor and King of the United States of America.
