At Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida. Anderson averaged 22.8 points a game and finished as the second leading scorer in school history. One of the top 50 recruits in the nation, he was named an All-American as a senior, leading his team to a 106-24 record in his four seasons. A 6' 5" 215 lbs guard, Anderson was a key member of the 2004 National Champion UConn Huskies, but may be best remembered for a play during the regional semifinals of the 2006 NCAA National Tournament against the
Washington Huskies . Despite heavy defensive coverage, and with less than two seconds remaining in regulation, Anderson scored a three point basket off a handoff from Marcus Williams, sending the game into overtime with a score of 82 to 82.
